gooseberry critters
we just returned from a good trip up to duluth. there was over 2' of snow, and the temperature hovered around 30 degrees to whole time.
when we got home, the new national geographic was waiting for us with a great gray owl on the cover. we had a nice encounter with one ourselves (and a few other creatures) as we were about to leave the park.
the movie files are pretty large; rather than send them out and clog everyone's email, you can see them at this address.

Nature is great. I loved your movie Uncle Patrick. I wish I could've been there in the snow, too. Owls are one of my favorite animals. Once I saw one in the woods it was very cool too but I wasn't as close as you were.
Wow, Pat, this is cool. Where did you get the trained deer? Looks like you were on a tripod -- how long did you have to let it run to get these shots?
